Tigers dump White Sox in extra innings
Miguel Cabrera's homer in the top of the 10th inning lifted the Detroit Tigers past the Chicago White Sox 7-6 on Tuesday night.

Placido Polanco was 2-for-4 with three runs batted in for the Tigers, while Brandon Lyon picked up the win in relief of starter Dontrelle Willis for Detroit.
Brian Anderson hit a two-run jack for Chicago, as Scott Linebrink took the loss after allowing Cabrera's dinger in the top of the 10th.
