Indians dump Phillies with big inning
The Cleveland Indians scored eight runs in the sixth-inning, as they defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 10-6 Wednesday night at Jacobs Field.
Cleveland won the game as -210 favorites, and the 16 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9.5).
Trot Nixon had three hits, and drove in two runs for the Indians. C.C. Sabathia improved to (10-2) with the win, giving up four runs and five hits over six innings on the mound.
Rod Barajas hit a two-run shot for the Phillies, and finished 2-for-4 at the plate. Jon Lieber was rocked for 10 hits and seven runs in suffering the loss.
