Indians rally past Tigers
The Cleveland Indians broke a tie with three runs in the sixth inning, and went on to defeat the Detroit Tigers 7-4 Tuesday night at Jacobs Field.
Cleveland won the game as +120 underdogs, while the combined 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).
Travis Hafner hit a three-run homer, while Victor Martinez and Franklin Gutierrez also went deep for the Indians. Jensen Lewis picked up his first win in relief, and Joe Borowski tossed a scoreless ninth for his 41st save.
Ramon Santiago was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for the Tigers, and Justin Verlander allowed seven runs from six hits in the loss.
