Swisher powers Yankees over Tigers

Nick Swisher belted two home runs and the New York Yankees scored seven runs in one inning as they held off the Detroit Tigers 8-6 Wednesday afternoon in the series finale at Comerica Park.

Hideki Matsui hit a bases-loaded double and drove in three runs for the Yankees. Joba Chamberlain allowed just three hits and one run over seven innings for the win.
