Royals edge Tigers

Willie Bloomquist was 3-for-4 with a big fly and three runs batted in for the Royals, while Roman Colon picked up the win in relief of starter Gil Meche for Kansas City.
Ryan Raburn went 2-for-4 with a dinger and two RBIs for Detroit, as Fernando Rodney was tagged with the loss after allowing Jacobs' drive in the top of the ninth inning.
