Tigers nip Royals

The Detroit Tigers scored early and held on for a 3-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals Wednesday night at Comerica Park.

Detroit won the game as +115 underdogs, while the four runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8).

Marcus Thames, Clete Thomas and Ramon Sanitago drove in one run apiece for the Tigers. Luke French tossed 6 1-3 innings for the win, giving up six hits and one run.

Alberto Collaspo hit a solo home run for the Royals, while Zack Greinke gave up three runs in the loss.
