Royals slip by Giants

David DeJesus went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in for the Royals, as Ron Mahay picked up the win in relief of starter Kyle Davies for Kansas City.
Randy Winn and John Bowker knocked in three runs apiece for San Francisco, as reliever Alex Hinshaw took the loss after allowing the go-ahead run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Giants.
