Royals even series with Tigers
Mitch Maier drove in three runs to help the Kansas City Royals defeat the Detroit Tigers 6-1 Tuesday night, and evened the three-game series at Kauffman Stadium.
Kansas City won the game as -165 favorites, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (7.5).
Jose Guillen went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs, including a solo home run. Zack Greinke allowed just six hits and one run, while fanning eight in the victory.
Magglio Ordonez drove in the only run for the Tigers. Edwin Jackson surrendered four runs over 6 1-3 innings in the loss.
