Twins sneak past Royals
The Minnesota Twins scored the winning run in the top of the ninth inning for an 8-7 victory over the Kansas City Royals Saturday night at Kauffman Stadium.
Minnesota won the game as -115 favorites, and the 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9.5).
Michael Cuddyer went 2-for-4 at the plate with a solo home run and two RBIs. Brian Duensing pitched five innings for the win, allowing six hits and two runs.
David DeJesus went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs batted in for the Royals. Kyle Davies surrendered six runs over 5 2-3 innings and fell to 4-9 overall.
