Twins cruise past Royals

The Minnesota Twins scored four runs in the fifth inning to lift them over the Kansas City Royals 9-4 Friday night at Kauffman Stadium.

Minnesota won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the 13 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Delmon Young led the Twins with a solo home run and two RBIs. Carl Pavano pitched six innings for the win, allowing eight hits and four runs.

Billy Butler hits two home runs and drove in four runs for the Royals. Robinson Tejeda gave up six runs over 4 1-3 innings in the loss.
