Big inning lifts Twins over Braves

The Minnesota Twins scored five runs in the fourth-inning and went on to defeat the Atlanta Braves 7-3 Tuesday night at the Metrodome.

Minnesota won the game as -150 home favorites, and the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9.5).

Luis Castillo led the Twins with two RBI, and finished 3-for-5 at the plate. Kevin Slowey earned his second straight win, allowing just seven hits and three runs over six innings.

Jeff Francoeur homered and went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Braves. Kyle Davies was rocked for five runs and left the game after 3 2-3 innings in the loss.
