Justin Morneau homered and drove in three runs to help the Minnesota Twins defeat the Seattle Mariners 6-5 Wednesday night.

Minnesota won the game as -180 favorites, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Jason Kubel had two hits and drove in one run for the Twins. Kevin Slowey tossed six innings for the win, and Joe Nathan tossed a scoreless ninth for his first save.

Russell Branyan drove in two runs for the Mariners, while Carlos Silva gave up six runs off eight hits over five innings in the loss.
