Twins sweep away Indians

Michael Cuddyer homered and drove in three runs Wednesday, as the Minnesota Twins completed a three-game sweep of the Cleveland Indians with a 7-3 victory at the Metrodome.

Minnesota won the game as -140 favorites, and the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).

Joe Mauer chipped in with a pair of RBIs for the Twins. Nick Blackburn earned his 10th victory with 6 1-3 innings of work, and Joe Nathan notched his 41st save.

Matt LaPorta belted a three-run homer for the Indians. Aaron Laffey gave up 12 hits and seven runs over six innings in the loss.
