Royals nip Yankees

The Kansas City Royals scored in the top of the ninth inning to pull out a 4-3 win over the New York Yankees Friday night at Yankee Stadium.

Kansas City won the game as +185 underdogs, while the seven runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Mark Teahen drove in two runs to lead the Royals. Leo Nunez posted the win in relief, and Joakim Soria notched his 33rd save.

Derek Jeter went 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI for the Yankees. Mariano Rivera gave up the winning run and suffered the loss.
