A's hold off White Sox

The Oakland A's gave up two late runs, but managed to hang on for a 3-2 win over the Chicago White Sox Wednesday at McAfee Coliseum.

Oakland won the game as -115 favorites, and the five runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (8).

Kurt Suzuki led the way with a two-run homer, and finished 1-for-3 at the plate. Joe Blanton gave up five hits over seven innings for the win, and Huston Street picked up the save.

Paul Konerko was 2-for-4 with one RBI in a losing effort for the White Sox. Mark Buehrle suffered the loss, giving up seven hits and three runs over seven innings on the mound.
