Jarrod Washburn (6-6) scattered a run on seven hits over eight innings, and Raul Ibanez added a grand slam for the Mariners.

Kyle Lohse (3-10) left after six innings, allowing eight runs on six hits. Brandon Phillips was 1-for-4 with an RBI for the Reds.
