Mariners rally past D-Rays
The Seattle Mariners scored seven runs late in the game, as they defeated the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 8-7 At Safeco Field on Thursday.
Seattle won the game as -150 favorites, and the combined 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10).
Yuniesky Betancourt was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Ichiro Suzuki drove in two runs for the Mariners. Ryan Rowland-Smith picked up his first win, and J.J. Putz closed out the game with his 38th save.
Greg Norton hit a two-run blast, and finished with three RBIs for the Devil Rays. Dan Wheeler allowed three runs in one inning of relief to suffer the loss.
