Rangers outlast Mariners
The Texas Rangers scored twice in the top of the eighth inning and held on for a 6-4 win over the Seattle Mariners Friday night to even the four-game series at Safeco Field.
Texas won the game as -115 favorites, while the 10 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Michael Young went 2-for-5 at the plate with a three-run homer for the Rangers. Scott Feldman allowed two runs over 6 2-3 innings to pick up the win.
Franklin Gutierrez drove in two runs for the Mariners. Brandon Morrow allowed six hits and four runs over five innings in the loss.
