Mariners take out Athletics in extra innings
Ryan Langerhans' walk-off, two-run jack in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the Seattle Mariners over the Oakland Athletics 4-2 on Tuesday night.
Seattle cashed as -140 home favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 8-run total set by oddsmakers.
Russell Branyan also went deep for the Mariners, as Mark Lowe grabbed the win in relief of starter Ryan Rowland-Smith for Seattle.
Scott Hairston was 2-for-5 with a run batted in for Oakland, while Craig Breslow took the loss after allowing Langerhans' walk-off in the bottom of the 10th inning.
