Mariners sail past A’s for sweep

The Seattle Mariners finished off a the Oakland A’s with a 5-3 victory Wednesday night for a sweep of the three-game series at Safeco Field.

Seattle won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the eight runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).

Jose Lopez led the Mariners with a two-run homer, and Bill Hall also drove in a pair of runs. Luke French tossed 5 2-3 innings for the win, and David Aardsma closed out the game with his 30th save.

Kurt Suzuki belted a two-run homer for the A’s. Gio Gonzalez gave up seven hits and four runs over five innings of work.
