Devil Rays stop Twins
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays defeated the Minnesota Twins 4-2 Wednesday, stopping the Twins from moving within three games of the AL Central division-leading Detroit Tigers.
Tampa Bay won the game as +115 underdogs at home, while the six combined runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (9.5).
Greg Norton smacked a two-run homer, going 1-3 at the plate and Delmon Young collected two hits in four trips to the plate in the win.
Joe Mauer belted a solo home run in the loss, finishing 1-3 at the plate as the Twins could not complete a series sweep of the D-Rays.
Shawn Camp won his seventh game of the season, allowing one run off two hits in one inning of relief and Seth McClung secured the victory with his fifth save.
