Devil Rays rout Padres
The Tampa Bay Devil Rays scored eight runs in two innings, as they finished off the San Diego Padres 11-4 Tuesday night at Tropicana Field.
Tampa Bay won the game as -125 home favorites, and the combined 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5).
Carlos Pena hit a grand slam and finished with five RBI for the Devil Rays. Casey Fossum pitched a scoreless seventh for the win.
Mike Cameron was 3-for-4 at scored twice in the loss. Cla Meredith gave up two runs on three hits in relief to suffer the loss.
