Rays outlast Blue Jays in extra innings
Pat Burrell's walk-off, two-run shot in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted the Tampa Bay Rays over the Toronto Blue Jays 3-1 on Tuesday night.
Tampa Bay cashed as -210 home favorites as the game played UNDER the 9-run total set by sportsbooks.
Dan Wheeler picked up the win in relief of starter James Shields, who allowed one run over seven innings for the Rays.
Scott Rolen drove in the lone run for Toronto, while Brandon League took the loss after giving up Burrell's walk-off blast in the bottom of the 11th inning.
