Catalanotto lifts Rangers past Cubs

Frank Catalanotto singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth, as the Texas Rangers edged the Chicago Cubs 6-5 Thursday afternoon at Rangers Ballpark.

Texas won the rubber match as +120 underdogs, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (10.5).

Victor Diaz belted a two-run homer for the Rangers, and Eric Gagne pitched a scoreless ninth for the win.

Derrek Lee drove in two runs and finished 3-for-4 at the plate for the Cubs, and Bob Howry suffered the loss in relief.
