Rangers rout Angels for sweep

The Texas Rangers completed a sweep of their three-game series against the LA Angels on Wednesday, as they cruised to a 16-2 win at Ameriquest Field.

Texas won the game as +105 underdogs, while the combined 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10.5).

Hank Blalock belted a three-run homer, while four others went deep for the Rangers. John Rheinecker tossed the win in relief, allowing one hit and one walk.

Maicer Izturis was 2-for-3 with one RBI for the Angels. Joe Saunders gave up nine hits and seven runs in five innings to suffer the loss.
