Garza, Rays shut down Blue Jays

Matt Garza surrendered one run over seven innings to earn the victory, as the Tampa Bay Rays downed the Toronto Blue Jays 4-1 on Tuesday night.

Tampa Bay cashed as -135 road favorites as the game played UNDER the 9-run total set by sportsbooks.

Willy Aybar went 3-for-5 with a solo shot for the Rays, while Carl Crawford was 2-for-5 with a dinger for Tampa Bay.

Scott Richmond gave up three runs over seven innings to take the loss for Toronto, as Aaron Hill went 2-for-3 for the Blue Jays.
