A's earn split with Rangers

Jack Cust belted a grand slam home run to lift the Oakland A's to a 9-4 win over the Texas Rangers Thursday afternoon.

Oakland won the game as a -110 pick'em, and the 13 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9.5).

Matt Holliday cracked a three-run homer for the A's. Trevor Cahill tossed seven innings for the win, allowing one run off five hits.

Chris Davis homered in a losing effort for the Rangers. Brandon McCarthy was rocked for seven runs over four innings.
