Twins rally past A’s
The Minnesota Twins scored three runs in the ninth inning and came away with a 6-3 victory over the Oakland A’s Wednesday night at Oakland Coliseum.
Minnesota won the contest as a +110 underdog, while the nine runs made it OVER the night’s posted over/under (8.5).
Jason Kubel went deep for the Twins, while Matt Guerrier got the win in relief. Joe Nathan whiffed two batters and closed out the ninth for his 13th save.
Andrew Bailey suffered his first loss of the season, giving up three hits and three runs.
