Big inning propels Angels past A’s

The LA Angels scored six runs in the third inning and went on to crush the Oakland A’s 11-6 Saturday at Oakland Coliseum.

LA won the game as -125 favorites, and the 17 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Erick Aybar drove in four runs to lead the Angels, while Chone Figgins homered and scored three runs. Darren Oliver improved to 4-0 with the win in releif.

Matt Holliday went 2-for-4 at the plate with a pair of RBIs, and Jack Cust also drove in two runs for the A’s. Vin Mazzaro gave up eight runs off 10 hits over three innings in the loss.
