The Oakland A’s scored 12 runs in the first two innings en route to a 16-1 rout of the Minnesota Twins Wednesday afternoon in the rubber match at Oakland Coliseum.

Oakland won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the 17 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (9).

Rajai Davis drove in four runs for the A’s, and Scott Hairston belted a three-run homer. Trevor Cahill allowed six runs and one run over seven innings for the victory.

Glen Perkins was rocked for eight runs off six hits in the loss.
