Blue Jays even series with A’s

Aaron Hill belted a three-run homer and drove in four runs to help the Toronto Blue Jays defeat the Oakland A’s 6-5 Saturday night at Oakland Coliseum.

Toronto won the game as -115 favorites, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).

Lyle Overbay went 2-for-3 with one RBI and a run scored for the Blue Jays. Brett Cecil improved to 5-1 with the win, giving up six hits and four runs.

Adam Kennedy hit a bases-loaded double for three runs batted in for the A’s. Trevor Cahill gave up eight hits and six runs over 5 1-3 innings of work in the loss.
