A’s slip past Rangers
The Oakland A’s won their third straight with a 7-5 victory over the Texas Rangers Wednesday night at Oakland Coliseum.
Oakland won the game as +110 underdogs, while the 12 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9).
Scott Hairston led the A’s with a two-run homer and three RBIs. Craig Breslow tossed the win in relief, and Andrew Bailey collected his 15th save.
David Murphy launched two home runs and drove in three runs for the Rangers. Vicente Padilla gave up six runs over 5 2-3 innings in taking the loss.
