The Los Angeles Angels snuffed out an Oakland Athletics ninth-inning rally to win 4-2 at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Game 2 of their weekend series.

Los Angeles won as a -124 road favorite while the final score fell under the 9-run total.

The Angels got a three hits from shortstop Erick Aybar while starting pitcher Scott Kazmir last five innings, allowing just three hits before the bullpen let up for two runs late in the game.

­The A's got 4 2-3 inning out of Dana Eveland, who allowed four runs on eight hits. Outfielder Rajai Davis had two hits and one RBI.
