Cahill, A’s shut down Red Sox
Trevor Cahill combined on a three-hit shutout Friday, and the Oakland A’s defeated the Boston Red Sox 5-0.
The A’s won the game as a -110 pick’em, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (6.5) set by sportsbooks.
Kurt Suzuki and Daric Barton drove in a pair of runs apiece to lead the A’s. Cahill improved to 16-6 with the victory.
Clay Buchholz surrendered five hits and five runs in just one inning in the loss.
