Nationals slip past Dodgers
Justin Maxwell scored on a ninth-inning throwing error as the Washington Nationals snuck past the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-4 Wednesday night.
Washington won the game as +160 underdogs, and the nine runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (9).
Ryan Zimmerman belted a three-run homer to lead the Nationals. Saul Rivera recorded the final two outs and was credited with the victory.
James Loney went 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI for the Dodgers. James McDonald gave up the winning run and was tagged with the loss.
