Nationals edge Marlins
The Washington Nationals scored an unusual run in the eighth inning to sneak out a 5-4 win over the Florida Marlins at Nationals Park Saturday.
Washington won as a +181 home underdog while the final score played OVER the 8.5-run total.
Nationals slugger Adam Dunn was hit by a pitch with the bases load, bringing in the go-ahead run. Starter Matt Chico lasted five innings, giving up two runs on six hits.
First baseman Gaby Sanchez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the seventh inning. Stater Josh Johnson pitched six innings, allowing three runs on six hits.
