Nationals stifle Phillies

Adam Dunn's walk-off dinger in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Washington Nationals past the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Washington won as +135 home underdogs, while the teams played UNDER the 7-run total set by oddsmakers.

Dunn finished with two runs batted in for the Nationals, as Drew Storen picked up the win for Washington in relief of Jason Marquis.

Raul Ibanez went deep for Philadelphia, while Jose Contreras took the loss for the Phillies after allowing Dunn's shot in the ninth.
