Indians avoid sweep by Giants

Jamey Carroll went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs for the Indians. Cliff Lee threw eight innings for the win and whiffed 11 batters.
Rich Aurilia drove in the lone run for the Giants. Matt Cain surrendered four runs off eight hits in five innings in the loss.
