Indians handle White Sox

Franklin Gutierrez hit a grand slam to lift the Cleveland Indians over the Chicago White Sox 8-2 on Tuesday night.

Cleveland cashed as -150 home favorites as the game played over the 8-run total posted by sportsbooks.

Ben Francisco and Ryan Garko knocked in the other runs for the Indians, while winning pitcher Aaron Laffey allowed one earned run over six innings for Cleveland.

Toby Hall went 2-for-3 with a run batted in for Chicago, as Mark Buehrle allowed six earned runs over five innings to take the loss for the White Sox.
