The Detroit Tigers knocked off AL Central rivals, the Cleveland Indians, 6-4 at Progressive Field Saturday.

Detroit won as a -143 road favorite while the final score played OVER the 8.5-run total.

The Tigers were paced by second baseman Scott Sizemore, who had three RBI, and Miguel Cabrera, who finished with two RBI. Starter Justin Verlander went six innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out nine batters.

Outfielder Austin Kearns had three RBI for the Indians in the loss. Starting pitcher Justin Masterson went six innings, giving up three runs on five hits.
