Rangers finish off A’s

The Texas Rangers doubled the Oakland A’s 8-4 Saturday to clinch the three-game series at Rangers Ballpark.

Texas won the game as +105 underdogs, while the 12 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (10).

Josh Hamilton belted a two-run homer and finished with three RBIs for the Rangers. Sidney Ponson tossed seven innings for the win, allowing four runs on nine hits.

Jack Hannahan and Travis Buck had two RBIs apiece in the loss. Joe Blanton gave up six runs off 10 hits over six innings in the loss.
