Rays stop Rangers

The Tampa Bay Rays won their second straight of the three-game series Saturday, as they clipped the Texas Rangers 5-4 at Rangers Ballpark.

Tampa Bay won the game as a -105 pick’em, and the nine runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (11).

Gabe Gross hit a two-run homer to lift the Rays, and Willy Aybar also had two RBIs in the win. J.P. Howell improved to 5-0 with the win in relief.

Milton Bradley homered and drove in two runs for the Rangers. Joaquin Benoit allowed two runs off two hits and was tagged with the loss.
