The Kansas City Royals banged out 19 hits as they tore apart the Texas Rangers 12-3 Friday night at Rangers Ballpark.

Kansas City won the game as a -110 pick’em, and the 15 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (10.5).

Coco Crisp belted a three-run homer, and Mark Teahen went 5-for-6 at the plate with a solo home run for the Royals. Gil Meche tossed six-complete innings to earn the victory.

Hank Blalock went 2-for-5 at the plate with a solo home run. Matt Harrison gave up six runs off eight hits over five innings in the loss.
