The Detroit Tigers exploded for 19 hits and crushed the Texas Rangers 13-5 Wednesday night at Rangers Ballpark.

Detroit won the game as a -110 pick’em, and the 18 runs sailed OVER the posted over/under (8.5).

Miguel Cabrera launched a three-run blast and finished with four RBIs for the Tigers. Justin Verlander whiffed 13 batters and earned his 12th victory of the season.

Andruw Jones hit two home runs, and Michael Young drove in two runs for the Rangers. Scott Feldman gave up 10 hits and six runs over 2 1-3 innings in suffering the loss.
