Rangers double A’s

Andruw Jones hit a two-run blast in a three-run eighth inning to lift the Texas Rangers to a 6-3 win over the Oakland A’s Friday night in the opener of a doubleheader.

Texas won the game as -105 pick’em, while the nine runs went UNDER the posted total of (11).

Nelson Cruz doubled in two runs, and hit a solo home run for the Rangers. C.J. Wilson collected his third win in relief, and Frank Francisco closed out the ninth with his 11th save.

Travis Buck led the A’s with a two-run homer. Santiago Casilla surrendered three runs in relief and was saddled with the loss.
