The New York Mets evened their three-game series with the San Diego Padres by earning a 7-2 victory Wednesday night at Shea Stadium.

New York won the game as -190 favorites, while the nine runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (9).

Carlos Delgado went 2-for-3 at the plate, including a solo home run for the Mets. Oliver Perez allowed just one run off three hits over six innings to post the victory.

Scott Hairston and Adrian Gonzalez knocked in the runs for the Padres. Kevin Correia surrendered two runs over five innings in the loss.
