Big inning propels Mets
The New York Mets scored five runs in the eighth inning en route to a 6-2 win over the Chicago Cubs Friday night.
New York won the game as +140 underdogs, while the eight runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8.5).
Cory Sullivan homered and drove in a pair of runs for the Cubs. Brain Stokes tossed just over one inning for the win, and Francisco Rodriguez collected his 29th save.
Jeff Baker went 3-for-3 at the plate with one RBI for the Cubs. Kevin Gregg gave up two runs in relief in the loss.
