Spurs shut down Knicks

Tim Duncan went for 23 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists to lead the San Antonio Spurs past the New York Knicks 92-80 on Tuesday night.

San Antonio covered as 4-point home favorites as the game played under the 197-point total posted by sportsbooks.

Michael Finley added 14 points and six boards off the bench for the Spurs, who got 13 points from reserve Bruce Bowen in the win.

Jamal Crawford put up 28 points to lead New York, while Zach Randolph scored 15 points and hauled down 13 rebounds for the Knicks.
