The battle between the Spurs and Kings didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Sacramento was handed a 130-102 defeat on Friday at AT&T Center.

The Spurs were a 14.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 215.5.

San Antonio got 16 points from DeJuan Blair and another 15 points from Danny Green. Manu Ginobili contributed 15 assists, while Tiago Splitter cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Sacramento got 25 points from Marcus Thornton in a losing cause and another 18 points from Isaiah Thomas. Marcus Thornton contributed 5 assists for the Kings, while DeMarcus Cousins had 7 rebounds.

The Spurs hit the break leading 63-49 before taking care of business in the second half.

The rebound battle favored San Antonio as they grabbed 43 boards, while Sacramento only had 28.

Next game, San Antonio takes its act home to face Detroit looking for another win. For Sacramento, they head home to face Charlotte.
