Bucks cut series deficit

The Milwaukee Bucks stormed out to an early lead and went on to defeat the Atlanta Hawks 107-89 Saturday and now trail the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarter-final series 2-1.

Milwaukee covered the slight 1-point spread, while the combined score made it OVER the posted total of 189 set by oddsmakers.

John Salmons led the way with 22 points and seven assists, while Jerry Stackhouse had 16 points in the win.

Joe Johnson tossed in 25 points with six rebounds and four assists in the loss for Atlanta.
